Notification/Acceptance of Your Award

Award Notifications

The WSU Law School Office of Student Financial Aid uses the WSU e-mail system to notify students of any outstanding requirements and award offers. All students should activate their WSU e-mail as soon as they receive their access ID from the Law School Admissions Office.

E-mails will direct each student to WSU Pipeline to review their status and accept their awards.

You will not receive award letters through the mail.

Pipeline is the secure portal for information and resources at Wayne State University. Pipeline requires an AccessID. Your AccessID and temporary password are mailed to you from the Office of Computing & Information Technology (C&IT) upon application to Wayne State University. Assistance accessing Pipeline is available from C&IT.

Accepting Your Award

Financial aid awards must be accepted or declined on WSU Pipeline.

If you are accepting a loan award, additional requirements must be met. You must complete one-time loan counseling for Federal Perkins, Federal Stafford, or Federal GradPLUS Loans. You must also sign loan promissory notes. See our loan Web page for more information.

Sign Up for Text Messaging

You may sign up to receive text messages from the Financial Aid Office on your cell phone. The WSU Broadcast Messaging Service will also deliver emergency notifications and other university messages. Sign up and set your preferences on Pipeline under the "My Pipeline" tab, under WSU Resources, select Broadcast Messaging. See computing.wayne.edui/messaging for more information.
